There is nothing that really sets us above the crowd of e-feds opening and closing on the internet. Sure, we have the bi-weekly thing, and we are a pretty solid e-fed to boot, but there's nothing really innovative. In the words of Terry Funk, you need something to put yourself over all the other guys. Now I'm opening up the floor to you guys as I ponder what to add to GCW. What would put us above everyone else? I'm looking to bring some more talent to our increasingly smaller roster. Please, any idea that you have, even if you think it's stupid or irrelevant, please post it here.
We all need to chip in to help this place become successful. Your ideas are your personal building block that helps build the success that GCW can become. Won't you feel proud when GCW is on top of the e-fed world, knowing that you were a part of this and helped make it what it is?
I know I would.

Maybe you could make GCW more hardcore or add a hardcore-type belt? Writing great normal matches is one thing, but writing a Bullrope Ladder match, or a Flaming Tables match that makes everyone think "Holy shit, that was awesome" can bring in people, wanting to be featured in a match like that. Just a thought.

Thanks, I've been thinking about what our next title should be. I'll keep a hardcore strap in mind.
Keep with the ideas.

I suppose if enough people are up for it, We could bring in my own personal match concept. I call it the "Extreme Ultimate X" but if anyone else has any suggestion on a different yet fitting name for it, we can put suggestions to a vote and decide what to call it. Here's how the match works. Prior to the actual 'event' where the match is to be held. Qualifying matches are held. 7 Singles matches to determine the first entrants, and then a battle royal for a 'last chance qualifier'...then those 8 advance to the match itself. The match itself takes place in an octagonal cage, inside the cage is an octagonal set of ring ropes, stretched from corner to corner across the top of the 8-sides of steel are 4 additional ring ropes creating 8 (big word, brace yourself) radii to the center, Above which a prise is suspended as like in a Ladder match. The goal of the match is to shimmy to the center, climb on top and reach up--so you actually have to be standing on the ropes or you can't reach. The winner of the match will be guarenteed a shot at the Heavyweight Champion at a later date. Perhaps the equivalent to 'Wrestlemania' of sorts. Or be given a 'money in the bank' contract which he/she can use at their leisure here is an illustration (crude at best, but it works) of what the structure looks like: This event could be held annually, sort of our equivalent to the WWE's "Royal Rumble"--something to look forward to each year.

You've suggested this before, Rich... I remember it because it's a great idea. I'll keep it in my back pocket for one of our later supercards.

I know that you know, but do 'they' know that you know that I know. I suppose now, they do.

I love Rich's idea.
Of course, I like the Hardcore division idea as well, but I suppose thats the part of me that loves "garbage" wrestling thats showing.
