---Note to readers: you may copy this FAQ for any purpose as long as you ask me first and credit me for it. Thanks.---
This is a FAQ for those that are new to e-fedding, or would like to know more about how I run this e-fed.
What is e-fedding?
E-fedding is a type of online roleplaying game where you write about your wrestler and the experiences he/she encounters. Your character is placed in matches against other roleplayers like yourself, and you must attempt to write better roleplays than your opponent while contributing towards the match. This can be through trash-talking your opponent, cutting backstage promos, etc... The person that does a better job of writing wins the match. The goal is to be the top champion in the e-fed. In our case, it's the GCW Heavyweight Championship.
What kind of e-fed is GCW?
GCW is a traditional roleplaying e-fed. The objective is to out-roleplay your opponent before the roleplaying deadline is up. If your roleplay(s) are of better quality than your opponent, you win the match. Matches are written and posted every other week.
When are matches posted and when is the deadline?
The bi-weekly matches and the Supercard are always on a Sunday, every other month. The deadline is on Friday, 11:59 PM EST, the Friday before the event. This is to avoid deadline whoring.
Are matches written or simulated?
Matches are hand written by myself and/or other staff members.
Can I help write matches for GCW?
Yes, you may sign up as a match-writer. You will be given assignments usually consisting of one or two matches. You will also be granted moderator status.
What about your plans for GCW?
I hope to create an enjoyable experience for everybody involved with the company. Being the best at what we do and having fun while doing it is the ultimate goal for anybody involved with e-fedding. I hope to bring that to you, the e-fedder. If we can obtain this goal, success will come along with it.
Sounds fun. Where do I sign up?
The board below this one is the application board. Go into that and fill out the application for your wrestler and post it on the subboard that matches the application you filled out. Before you do this, you must register to the message board. Click the register button up at the top and follow the directions to create your account.
Okay, I created my wrestler. I want to be the champion NOW!
Whoa buddy, nobody waltzes in and takes the title without some skill... And you better be d**ned good to get it right off the bat. There are several ways to improve yourself as a roleplayer. E-fedding comes with experience. The more you roleplay, and the more effort you put into becoming better, the more successful you will be. Much like a sport or something requiring skill, practice makes perfect. You should read other people's RP's to get an idea of how to write. You should also make sure your grammar and spelling is excellent. Also, you should make sure you have a character that you will enjoy writing with, and that will work as an effective character with a good gimmick.
Gimmick huh? So how do I find the gimmick that's right for me?
Well, once again, that comes with experience. Your best bet is to start off with a very basic character and find a style that you are comfortable writing with. Another thing that could help you is to have your character's gimmick be similar to your interests. If you are accustomed to the occult, create a dark, sinister type of character that meddles with the supernatural. You get the point. Just make sure everything you're doing in a roleplay is legal. We'll never get that TV deal if you're going off killing people or doing drugs!
Nashua, New Hampshire? Is that a real city?
Yes, it is.

How can I get in contact with you?
There are several ways of getting in touch with me.
You can e-mail me at willyellis7@gmail.com.
You can AIM me at sumcrazdood
And you can MSN me at ekwfan6@yahoo.com
What does Bi-Weekly/Bi-Monthly mean?
This means that matches will take place every other week/month. This is because a lot of us have busy lives, and having two weeks to roleplay makes things much easier on the owner and the roleplayers.
Roleplayer of the Month?
This title is to recognize the most talented roleplayer for that month. Perhaps it could be for the person who did the best, or showed the most effort. One rule, however, is that nobody will win RPotM back to back. The RPotM is voted on by fellow peers in GCW in a poll held at the end of the month.
I joined as a tag team... Do I have to post seperate singles applications for the guys on the team?
Yes, mainly because a full application helps the writers emulate your character in their matches, whether they be tag team or singles matches.
More to come...
