::Scene starts out in Elijah's private plane heading to New Hampshire from Ohio::
3:10 am. June 9. 37,000 feet above Pennsylvania.
Elijah searches around his baggage for something, while Ted and Haylie sleep in their respective seats. After minutes of searching, he finally gives up. He sighs in forfeit as he stares out of his window. It's dark out, but signs of flickering lights appear both underneath and above them, showing signs of civilization below.
One star catches Elijah's attention. It flickered savagely among the other stars. It was independent in its own way, standing out amongst the other stars. Elijah starts to remember a lesson he learned from school a long time ago. It was dim inside the plane, which seems to help Elijah think. "The star is dying" he thought to himself.
Clouds start to appear, which seems to swallow every star standing in its way. One by one the stars dissappear. Elijah thought to himself, "A war between the dark clouds and the bright stars".
It seems clear that the dark clouds are winning. The clouds just keep on swallowing the poor defenseless stars. But not the standout one. The dying star kept on flickering on and on in their frontlines; behind enemy lines, but growing weaker by the second. The star just doesn't want to give in. It flickers, looking like it's shouting words of encouragement to his fellow stars. "It flickers savage battle-cry's". The dark clouds almost literally avoid the waning star--at all cost.
Elijah yawns. His eyelids grew heavier and heavier. Alas, a brave cloud finally approaches the savage but dying star. Elijah watches on drowsily with a hint of excitement. Will the star prevail? Or will it be finally put to rest by the dark cloud? But before Elijah even finishes watching the epic conclusion of the battle, everything goes black................... "I have to win"
::End scene::
Who prevails? We'll have to see in June 10, on the next installment of Sunday Night Storm.
